Twenty year old Chinese Elm is the highlight of my garden, but has begun sending suckers up from the roots. Not sure if I can use herbicide like Zero on them, as afraid of it travelling back to the parent and killing it.
Zero is a systemic spray. It is likely that chemical sprayed on the suckers will be carried back into the tree. Zero is not recommended for treatment of suckers
