i'm trying to grow European cucumbers...the plants seem to be great, but some of the new fruit is turning yellow, could you let me know if this is suppose to happen? Thank-you........
If you have a yellow cucumber, it’s generally means that its over ripe. When they are like this it has ceased producing the green coloring from chlorophyll and then begins to fade, leaving the fruit to become yellow. It can mean that the plant has finished its productive cycle. When they are like this they are bitter to taste and no good for eating. Consistently yellow cucumbers can also mean that the plant has a virus or an imbalance of nutrient.
