Orange Tree Die-Back
Fruit & Nuts > Orange
I have two Orange Trees that I planted 1 year ago. They have died off at the tips of the branches, and all the leaves fell off. The centre of the trees are full of blossoms, and new leaves are forming in the centre of the trees. Can you suggest what could be wrong?
Hey Judith, it sounds to me like you have not given them enough water. Most plants will die back from the tips if there is not enough water available. Basically they are just supporting the foliage they able to - and that tends to be closest to the trunk.
