Eucalyptus pulverulenta is a small tree or mallee that will grow to 10m if left untouched but can be grown successfully as a smaller and bushy shrub if pruned regularly.
Although rare in the wild it is grown both for commercial and garden use.
This species has extremely attractive foliage that is often used in flower arrangements where it is known as 'Florists Silver Dollar'
The juvenille leaves are blue green with a silvery white waxy bloom.
They grow in pairs along the length of the stems and are rounded and attached directly to the stem.
The large cream coloured flowers are found in groups of twos or threes along the stems during winter and spring.
