Narcissus jonquilla is a naturally occurring species of the Narcissus genus.
It is a bulbous perennial that produces long and slender, deep green leaves and then atop long stalks appear clusters of perfumed, small-cupped flowers around 3cm in width that open in late spring.
These make superb under-storey plantings, go well in rockeries, pots and tubs, especially around a patio as the best way to enjoy their fragrance.
Perfect for smaller city and courtyard gardens.
