Crassula falcata or the Propeller Plant is a succulent with grey to green, fleshy, foliage that resemble miniature airplane propellers.
Its crowning glory however are the corymbs of brilliant scarlet, five petalled flowers with contrasting yellow stamen that are held aloft on stems.
Apart from adding fabulous colour to your rockeries, they also attract plenty of birds and bees to your garden.
As with many succulents, they are very drought tolerant and are particularly suited to xeriscape gardening or can also be grown indoors.
