Tulipa sprengeri is originally a wild species of Tulip from Turkey that is very rare in its natural habitat these days but very popular as a cultivated plant in domestic gardens.
It features slender, lance-shaped leaves and vibrant, star-shaped flowers with reflexed petals in shades of rosy-pink to red-orange.
These flowers appear atop sturdy stems, adding a delightful splash of color to garden beds and borders.
Their graceful, upright habit and colorful blooms make them excellent for ornamental purposes, particularly in rock gardens, mixed borders, or naturalistic settings.
They often naturalize well, forming lovely colonies over time.
