This is a medium to large shrub, it has an upright and spreading growth habit and can grow up to 4m tall.
It has grey-green narrow to elliptical leaves with a silvery underside similar to those of Olive trees.
The flowers are yellow/orange with long bright red styles, they are found in spider-like clusters.
If controlled by pruning this can make a very good screening plant. It also encourages birds and insects into the garden.
