Tazetta Daffodils are a varied group (Division 8 daffodil) of small bloomed narcissus that are all heavily scented and delicately pretty.
They bloom from autumn through to spring.
The flowers tend to have 6 white petals (perianth segments) with deep yellow to light orange cups in the centre, though many Jonquils are bred to be more evenly coloured and can often be pale yellow to white.
These are a delight either in the garden or as cut flowers.
These plants are often referred to by florists as Jonquils - which is strictly incorrect as a Jonquil is a wild species in its own right that originate from the Iberian peninsula.
