Leucanthemum x superbum or the Shasta Daisiy have dark, shiny, toothed foliage providing a good contrasty base for the wonderful displays of classic, yellow centred, white daisies up to eight cms across that are held aloft on slender stalks.
In warmer climates the foliage remains after flowers have died back making a useful herbaceous fill-in. Flowers can be singles or gorgeous doubles.
Good for informal and cottage style gardens.
