Grevillea hookeriana is an upright shrub with lustrous, dark green, deeply divided foliage, bronze/brown stems.
In early spring, through to summer it produces flat, 'toothbrush-like,' spidery flowers in shades of russet red that appear at the end of the stems.
The flower colours can vary quite a lot with some being quite dark red and others almost black.
Although rather variable it is, however, a consistently vigorous grower and is often long lived, making a good, long-term screen or feature in your shrubbery.
