Tecoma stans or the Trumpet Bush has gorgeous bright yellow flowers that make this a spectacular specimen right through from summer till late autumn.
It grows as a large shrub or small bush tree with multiple trunks.
HOWEVER IT IS ALSO AN INVASIVE WEED and we recommend that it not be cultivated.
The divided leaves are made up of small, serrated bright green leaflets and they form a dense cover around the plant.
The flowers are funnel shaped and appear on elegant sprays at the ends of the branches.
This shrub is great for bringing colour into the garden in those usually unexciting months.
