Abelia floribunda is a medium/low growing shrub with cane-like branches that bear small, glossy, green leaves and produce clusters of drooping, trumpet shaped, rose coloured flowers throughout summer.
It is only slightly frost hardy and prefers a sheltered position, going particularly well up against a warm wall.
This is the most striking of the Abelias with outstanding flower colour and size, with blooms produced in profusion for a fabulous display.
When not in bloom this plant decorates quietly with its attractive, small leaved, glossy foliage.
