I have been given some seeds of Oriental Poppies (mixed colours) I have propagated them and they are as far as secondary leaves. I cannot find any info on growing them BUT did find on another Australian site that you require a license to grow or sell them! I'm a bit concerned I may have been lovingly growing little seeds I cannot plant out! HELP please Most Grateful Debbie
Papaver orientalis are the Oriental Poppies and generally available everywhere, while Papaver somniferum is the Opium Poppy and as you indicate is not recommended for domestic cultivation.
