The fruit of this variety have dense orange flesh with a nutty flavour and a small seed cavity. They make wonderful soups, are a great addition to stews and soups and roast well.
For best results sow seeds in seed trays and transplant after about 4 weeks. Pumpkins have a trailing habit so can be left to spread over the soil or grown up a trellis. Plant the seedlings 1m apart in rows 1m apart. The trellis works well as it takes up less room and keeps the fruit from touching the ground. The fruit should be ready for harvesting 14 weeks after the seeds were sown
