The Self-Watering Vegepod provides the perfect environment to grow vegetables, especially if you have a small to medium garden, townhouse courtyard or an apartment balcony.
This no-fuss, no-mess unit creates the perfect growing environment and is designed to minimise effort, while keeping plants protected, fed and watered.
The secret is in the self-watering design where this reservoir captures excess water and the nutrients that leach through the soil. Natural ‘wicking’ then returns it all to the plants, as and when required.
The mesh canopy keeps harsh summer sun diffused and protects from strong winds. It also keeps pests away AND has a built-in mister spray which when combined with a timer hose means you can go away for weeks and you’re veggies will stay healthy.
The Vegepod is very easy to set up. It arrives with all the components neatly packaged and ready for assembly.
Due to the generous capacity of the Vegepod there’s plenty of room for roots so medium sized veggies are no problem to grow.
Spinach, lettuce, herbs, brassicas, carrots, dwarf beans, beetroot, leeks, garlic and onions all go very well, as do capsicum, courgette and aubergine. If you are happy to leave the cover off then of course taller crops like tomatoes, climbing beans and sweetcorn are also good to grow.
The Vegepod is an all Australian invention. Its based on years of horticultural experience and clever engineering design.
Its all very neat and tidy, takes very little effort to grow tasty and nutritious crops and the self watering feature is an outstanding, time-saving benefit.
