Muscari armeniacum or Grape Hyacinth is a favourite cottage garden, bulbous plant with slender, strap-like leaves and hollow stems that hold clusters of small, grape-like, blue flowers rimmed with white.
They have a delicate and musky sort of scent and being early spring bloomers, they are frost hardy.
Excellent in woodland garden settings, under trees or in amongst shrubs.
