Hemerocallis multiflora is a popular perennial adding summer colour to garden borders.
The flowers are yellow, very showy and funnel shaped with curled back petals that expose the stamen. The stems bear many flowers so that although each flower only lasts one day the flowering stems appear to last much longer as the flowers do not all bloom at the same time.
They have coarse grassy foliage and flowers range from 8-15cms being both singles and doubles.
