A hardy, semi-evergreen shrub with a rounded habit and stiff branches that are covered in soft hairs.
The leaves are dark green with deep veins.
The flowers are arranged into small globular heads, about 3cms in diameter and are orange and yellow.
These globular heads are held in loose, uneven spikes that make an attractive display.
They’re attractive to butterflies and can handle coastal conditions quite well, but they can be short-lived.
