Yucca elephantipes or The Giant Yucca has multiple rosettes of stiff, serrated, sword-like, green leaves up to 1.2m long that are borne on this tree-like yucca.
It has a multiple branching habit and produces creamy white, bell shaped flowers in profusion after around 3-4 years that are very striking.
A dramatic plant that makes an unmissable statement in gardens and an excellent specimen for landscapers developing graphic garden designs.
NB. It rarely reaches its full height in cultivation.
