Annuals/Perennials > Shade plants
can hostas grow successfully in full sun or do they need to be grown in partial sun to full shade. I use to have some that had west sun from noon to sun down and they were very nice, now I am hoping to plant some in full sun.
Hostas require shelter from the afternoon sun. They are best grown in partial to full shade. If you were successful with pevious hostas growing in full afternoon sun, you might just get lucky again.
Taste it and see!
Host leaves will burn easily, so afternoon sun in particular should be avoided.
